Guns n' Roses in Hartwall Areena!

I was so excited that they're coming to Finland on the 5th of July. Then I got mad. I remembered that I'm flying back to Finland on the 5th. I calmed down, and checked my flight: if we'd have the morning flight we'd be in Helsinki before the concert would start. But no. We have the evening flight, so we land in Helsinki at 22.30.

I was mad for 2 days about this and then the next day I heard that they have another gig on the 6th! I was soo excited. I got tickets to that concert, not from the floor though but almost as good tickets. Not from the "Piippuhylly", but from the middle tier. It's going to be awesome: Flying back to Finland on the 5th, Guns'n'Roses in Helsinki on the 6th, 7.7-9.7 Ruisrock for all 3 days. Awesome week. ;D

Yesterday I read in a magazine that G'n'R will play in many countries of Europe... BUT NOT IN SPAIN!!!!!!

It's noy fair!! But I must say that I'm a little bit "nervous"... Who is going to play with Axl??. The only I know is Dizzy... But the others....

But anyway... If G'n'R won't play here, at least we have another gig in November the 30th: Iron Maiden ^^.

Iron Maiden has 3 concerts in November in Finland, and one of them is on my birthday. But I'm not going to see them.

I found a list from somewhere that who all are going to play with Axl and Dizzy, but I don't remember who was on that list. I'll see if I can find it from somewhere..

I know what you mean, it’s so irritating if you want to be in a two places at the same time but you can’t...
I was in a same situation while ago. I booked a holiday trip to Cyprus and after that I heard that at the same time one of my favourite band Deathstars will play a gig here at Helsinki, Tuska Festival on Friday 30.6.2006. Well, then something happened in my life and I have to cancel my trip to Cyprus, but now I can go to see the Deathstars....
so everything seems to fine after all and I can go to Cyprus later if I want that.

Since Axl has had a habit of not showing up at their own concerts and cancelling their concerts I really hope they won't cancel this one.

I’m not so big fan of Guns’n Roses, I used to listen them when I was young, not so much anymore, but I went to their gig at Helsinki 5.7.2006 and they really kicked ass there!
It was a soldout gig and both, the band and the audience were happy and in a party mood...
Axl couldn’t stand still at all, he looked like Mike Monroe jumping there all over the stage on the whole gig.
And they played Hanoi Rocks: “Don’t you ever leave me” with piano and Finlandia-hymn with guitar so the audience was thrilled!
They played some new stuff too, I didn’t like that so much, I only liked the old stuff and I was happy to hear that.

Translation shortly: Axl has been partying with a Finnish formula driver Kimi Räikkönen the whole night and he's been
in a really good mood, laughing and joking about that incident in Sweden. He also let fans take pictures of him and he gave them autograps.

Guns N' Roses teki keskiviikkona näyttävän paluun 12 000 ihmisen edessä Hartwall Areenalla Helsingissä. Yhtyeen legendaarinen keulahahmo W. Axl Rose suuntasi konsertin jälkeen Helsingin yöelämään juhlimaan.

Axl Rose ja bändin muu seurue kuljetettiin vaivihkaa konserttipaikalta tummennetuin lasein varustetuilla Mercedes Benz -tila-autoilla Helsingin keskustassa sijaitsevaan Ravintola Teatteriin.

Fanit partioivat yökerhon ympärillä ja parinkymmenen sitkeimmän kärsivällisyys palkittiin noin kello 04.30 aamuyöllä, kun oviaukkoon ilmestyivät kitaravirtuoosi Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal ja itse megatähti Axl Rose.

Axl oli selvästi mielissään siitä, että häntä odottivat ulkona muutkin kuin autonkuljettaja. Yleensä valokuvaamisesta tarkka Axl antoi fanien iloksi luvan ottaa itsestään kuvia. Rokkari oli yhtä hymyä ja vitsaili ruotsalaishotellissa sattuneesta välikohtauksesta samalla, kun tehtaili nimikirjoituksia.

IS:n tietojen mukaan juhlat jatkuivat vielä hotelli Kämpissä, johon Axl Rose saapui aamuyöllä yhdessä formulakuski Kimi Räikkösen ja tämän vaimon Jenni Dahlman-Räikkösen sekä muutaman muun seurueeseen kuuluneen suomalaisen kanssa.

IS:n tietojen mukaan Räikköset kuljetettiin hotellilta pois kuuden jälkeen aamulla Guns N´Rosesin jenkkipakulla.
