Yes, Bloody Kisses is the one. I still love that album. I was a very big fan of TOP then and I still consider this album as the beginning of it all... Without this album there would have never been that 666 Love Songs album by HIM and The Eyes would have never turned into Goth... TON at Tuska two years ago where my big illusion but short after the gig started had to leave the place fast 'cos of an emergency... They were dressing in green that time... There's long time I have lost the interest in this band though... October Rust had still some good songs but others were totally crap and when I buy an album in which not all the songs are 100% then I destroy it immediately... By the way, there's a long time Jyrki is not much interested anymore in TOP... Two summers ago I asked him about it and he said oh I don't like them anymore I am more into Hardcore Superstar now... hehe
Cheers/Mr. Sleazy

I actually knew Jyrki doesn't care for Type O that much anymore.. Which is kinda odd, because without them, The 69 eyes would not even be a "gothband". ::)Well,I don't mind, I love their music, and their latest album Life is killing me is just mindblowing! Hail to the Green Giants of Brooklyn !

Blaah, I don't care what Jyrki thinks. I love all the albums of Type O, from Slow Deep And Hard to Life Is Killing Me. It's so hard for me to put them into some kind of order, or tell which is the best. I like them all equally, but I guess Bloody Kisses and World Coming Down are closest to my heart. But all the records have their special qualities and positive and negative sides. (Most of them negative. ) Aah, I don't want to decide which is the best. They all are perfect. Hail to the four d*cks from Brooklyn!

I don't like World Coming Down. I love it! I've heard that Peter Steele himself hates it, but me... I consider it as a one of a kind diamond. Well, it is quite melancholic and depressing, but what the heck, that just makes it better! I guess it was so personal to Peter or something... I don't know. I've never asked him.

Yep,something like that.Everybody was dying at that time (who were close to Pete) .. And he was just depressed (more than usually if it's possible..).. But hey, misery is excellent if it helps to make such perfect music! Someday I'm gonna travel to Brooklyn. And find Pete and thank him.

Thanks! That was a long interview... Peter looks kind of weird with his beard in the picture.

And he has a funny sense of humour... "Yeah, I might have a couple of drinks and if I’m having really bad anxiety, you know, I might drink… I’ve been known to drink two bottles of vodka, Absolut vodka… I’m 6’7” and I’m half Polish and I’m half Russian and so - “Woof, Woof!” - go figure, you know? I mean, I got the alcohol genes up I disagree."
