Well what can I say? One of the greatest bands I know. Of course there are people who don't like Tarja's voice but I do. I especially appreciate their music, there are always some "loud" beats, but it's also kind of mysterious . It's a totally different thing comparing to the 69 Eyes for example, but they are both great in their own way .

Nightwish is a very good band. They can connect to their audience so well. Tuomas looked at me and waved when I saw them in Umeå, and I went like crazy and started to wave (it looked like I was drowning or sumthin) and he just smiled at me. Haha, it's a nice memory.

Nightwish guys are all really nice in my opinion. Met them a few years back and they were all very kind. And Tarja is such a sweetheart and a very great singer. No doubt.

I have never met them, but they even appear very friendly on TV or on pictures. Just look at Tuomas or Marco on stage - they're always smiling

Yeah, well, I met a couple of the guys after the show. Not Tarja though, I think she had already fallin asleep then. We drank vodka and watched the new "sleeping sun"-video on Jukkas computer. And they were great. Even though Tuomas only stayed there for like 5 seconds. And the only thing he said to me was that he was terribly drunk and wondered if I would mind it. But still, they seemed like nice guys. I would really want to meet Tarja, she seems to be really sweet.

She had never been considered really irreplaceable I guess...will find another chanteuse. After all Nightwish is Tuomas.

fisrt when i heard it i was like WTF???But now..i think its better for them that she is gone, she was just voice and face of the band, that's not everything, important is who is making music and it wasn't her...i didn't know their relationship was that bad,but as tuomas said she changed, maybe Marcelo changed her,how knows...if its all about silver and gold for her now its better to move on..good luck to new Nightwish, and good luck to Tarja and her new projects as well

I was quite surprised also when I saw it on the news on TV, but hei, that's human relationships, if she's happy now, better for her and better for the rest of the band, will be for good that she's gone, then.

I don't like Nightwish, so this doesn't bother me much. After reading that letter I understand well why guys don't want her to be in the band anymore. Of course some of their fans could be sad, but I think she's not irreplaceable.

I was shocked when I read this! But now I see that it's better for the band, but Tuomas shouldn't have written all the details in his letter, it just makes no nice impression... I doubt that I will like the "future" Nightwish without Tarja as singer - of course the whole band stands behind the music, but the voice is one of the most important thing...

Yes and no, because for me, the voice must be good, just like the music. Of course their music is great and it won't change with the voice of another artist, but it' s not the same as before... I'm accustomed to Tarja's voice, I think. In my opinion, a new talented singer will surely be bodacious in what she is going to sing with the band in future, but if she sings the old songs, which Tarja sang, it won't suit. Just because of Tarja's unique voice and the fact, that we fans listened to them too many times. But I agree with you, that Tuomas has done the best for the band - he says that he had no other choice and I'm sure, it wasn't easy for him to make this decision after being bandmates for 9 years. It's sad that they are breaking up in dispute.
