Do you really want to know our feelings about HIM? Well, at least administrators and moderators feelings about them might be classified as Parental Advisory... ;D (joke) Näh, really, as you may have noticed, we don't have them on our site, and we hardly have mentioned them so that tells a lot. I like rock'n'roll and as far as I understand it, His Infernal Majesty are not playing this so-called Rock anymore. I find them too soft, so to say. First album and the very first EP, was ok, the music was something new at that time in Helsinki and in Europe in general, but they sold their asses to the record companies after the Razorblade Romance release. This pink album wasn't that bad at all, but it was too far from my expectations, and it was dangerously closing to what I don't like in music. And they did it, Deep shadows and brilliand Highlights was the worst thing I heard from a so-called Love Metal Band... and after that I don't know much. I've heard only a couple of songs from the new album and well, how can I say it gently?...anyway...I didn't like it at all. What it could have been some sort of cult band or something respectable became just a nightmare for real rockers, and it has become the foccus for little "goth" teenies. However, I must admit that they have been something really important in the music bizz and they will always be one of the bands that most of other finnish bands would have to thank for having opened the doorway to Finnish Music Scene...

I understand you, many funs (old usually) feels this way. But you can't blame them right? They went to the "fame" world of sadness and money.... In the other hand Ville H. Valo has helped 69 in the past many times and i think he have transfered their name here in Greece...!

Oh no...Ville didn't help the 69 eyes. They were a band much earlier than HIM started and they've had their own thing always. Ville has just been one of the other aditional musicians that have taken part in the backing vocals release, apart from being friend of them. As well as he did with Tehosekoitin. The only thing as I said is that they opened the door for many other bands to come out from their darkness, like the eyes, rasmus, and so on...

Yes, they have a very good relationship with 69 and this good for both of the bands. The sad of the story is that there in Finland they don't like HIM very much as they like HIM in other countries. Also USA started to kneel before them....!)

Hm being friends doesn't mean that they are the saviours of all the bands. I keep thinking that Him didn't help the eyes at all. When Jyrki was already known in Helsinki and was doing his dj sessions called Hell Dorado, one night a tiny guy came to him and told him to play this guy's band first ep...and it was HIM's 666ways to love ep! And Jyrki played it just to see what was it... Afer that came the friendship...So in any case it was Jyrki who helped them (HIM) to be what they are! And you're right, true rockers don't like them much in Finland, but I understand it. Somehow HIM invented a new sound but after that, they have been exploiting it for years and in every album and keep doing it... They don't play anything new anymore and they have sold their souls to rec. companies...The worst of all is that they beleive they are gods or something and they think that everyone has to kneel before them...but sorry guys, that's the bad news: it's not like that!
